Wow... what a perfect place! Such beautiful surroundings! Room was beautiful and the bed was comfy. Staff we friendly and all very welcoming! Shuttle bus runs each day into the centre of Rome and food was amazing!! A huge thank you to Christiano.. he did not speak alot of English but was very helpful and accommodating and even took us to the airport the morning we left... so kind! We look forward to our next stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel which was a fabulous find. It is very close to Rome to explore the sights but far enough to enjoy relaxing evenings. The staff were really lovely and accommodating to our large family. Highly recommend to families

Sad. After a horrific day we so looked forward to relaxing at the hotel. Young lady on reception demanded passports no hello or welcome. :( we felt very much like we weren't wanted there. The grounds are undoubtedly beautiful. Be warned walls paper thin. (could hear next door on the toilet! Talking etc). Shuttle is not free (as we were told). £60 local tax? Would have been nice to have been informed about that and shuttle bus charges on the first day rather then an £87 charge upon checkout. Holiday was booked for my partners birthday, and honestly I wish I'd never booked it. Our transfer didn't pick her up from the airport which was horrendous (though not the fault of the hotel). We did look forward to a warm welcome and perhaps an indication to restaurant or transport links. The young lady on reception was not helpful. She spoke mainly Italian which ofcourse we expected but not a smile or welcome. We felt very much like we shouldn't be there. The gentleman on reception was kind and helpful. Restaurant was beautiful. Some staff were hospitable, but some were not. *note. Party food (looked delicious) that evening I think for a wedding. We were suprised to see the leftovers being served to us tourists at breakfast in the morning..with flues roaming all over. Another couple also noted it and said they were careful with what they were eating. Some food was covered but this food was not. Also make sure you bring correct adapters our European adapters didn't fit the sockets (we thought a fault on out part so had no charge on out phones)... however after speaking to several guests they experienced the same. I booked this hotel over one in the city as it looked beautiful and a wonderful place to rest and recuperate. (Distance is 40 minutes to Rome please note). Whilst there is no denying that the location is beautiful, the service, rooms and treatment (especially those not local) were below standard. A beautiful location for a wedding maybe? A relaxing holiday next time we will stay in a b&b or hotel nearer the city, it didn't feel like a relaxing, romantic getaway. I hate to leave negative reviews and infact this is my first. I'm very easily pleased but I wish I had seen the more recent reviews of this place. Perhaps in peak season there is better treatment for guests? I hope so? I also hope that the hotel owner respects that some of the issues exist and addresses them to further improve the future of the hotel. We won't visit this particular hotel again sadly, but we did have the fortune of making a friend in Rome who was far more helpful then every person combined that we met on our trip. Good luck

We stayed here for 3 nights and the board said it was £20 per way for the shuttle bus. Coming to a total of £40 at the end. We were charged an extra £36 for CITY TAX THAT DOESNT EXIST. We were nowhere near the city! Give me my money back. They think Brits are made of money. Disgusting. Don’t stay here, it’s not friendly and they hate the UK.

This hotel is probably very good for large weddings. The rooms are nice and the venue/park and buildings are beautiful. But we wikl never come back…. 1) The receptionist (young woman) at checkin was unpleasant when we arrived and also arrogant again the next day. No welcoming, just said “passports!” and could not explain in english how to find the rooms. Why do you work for an international appealing hotel and can’t communicate in English and can’t smile? Do an English course. 2) We booked a two hours horseback riding tour for two persons at the beach and 30 minutes transfer with the hotel van to the beach. The driver was 8 minutes late. She had no clue where to go and I didn’t know either because the hotel organized the horseriding. The driver got lost multiple times. Only English phrases she could speak was Oh my good, I don’t know and Sorry. Drove the van in an insane manor with her phone in one hand, looking at google map and talking to someone to find out where to go. After more one hour of this absurd experience we never got to the beach. 1,5 hour after we ended up at the horse place near the hotel because it was getting too dark. I hope the driver is very embarrassed as she ruined a lot for us and told the hotel that a blocked road was the reason. That is not true. I hope she will be better preparred for other guests next time and will be on time. I could have rated this hotel 1 star only. But all other staff was very friendly, the rooms was nice and the hotel never charged the euro 90 for the insane drive to the beach. Thank you for that. If the management are unhappy with the two stars I rated then have a talk with the receptionist and the insane driver. But I can’t rate this more than two. Sorry - but we will never come back…. I was there with wife and three children/teens for two nigths.
